South Carolina scored right before halftime and thought they had gained the momentum in the game. They also lead in Time of Possession. The third quarter took care of both.
Re-watching that quarter it's interesting to see that when Auburn has a large gain, it's usually because it was third and long, with them getting just enough for the first down. Hard to script a better way to grind out the clock. They didn't even cross midfield until an unusually long pass more than five minutes into the quarter.
