I sincerely pity the millions of leafs who, when questioned about what lies within their homeland's soul, offer up a shaky "uhhm... maple syrup... hockey... uhh, we're polite... multiculturalism... healthcare... umm... Tim Hortons..." Imagine going through life knowing that your pathetic country has unironically attached its identity to a mediocre fast food chain, a condiment, basic human courtesy, a healthcare system that on a global scale isn't even highly rated compared to others, and just not being American. Pity the leaf and their rudderless, uninspired, milquetoast people. Elbows up.
