I get your mentality, sure I could afford something newer and better, but why? Is my current one working? Does it do everything my usecase asks of it? If the answers are "Yes" then it's a bit of a waste, I'd rather keep the money, or spend it on something I'll genuinely need that I don't already have, or have, but it's not good enough. I only switched it up because it was a birthday gift, but if no one had bought me a new one, I probably would've kept my M30 for as long as possible, still 5 years was pretty good.
