I think Fujimoto's art is still salvageable with some fairly minor changes (that require very little effort on his part).
-He should go back to drawing smaller eyes.
-He should use a different pen for smaller details (like the wrinkles on shirts)
-Just draw LESS to make the art look cleaner and easier on the eyes
In many aspects of drawing characters, he has actually gotten better since P1, as difficult as that may be to believe right now.
