Starting to dislike this manga. Very meandering and the plot feels like it's going nowhere in part 2.
The characters are much less interesting than part 1. Himeno, Kishibe, Aki, Makima, etc. were way cooler than anyone in part 2. Maybe Nayuta, Famine or Death would've been cool but they never get written too well. Just feels wacky for the sake of it at this point and even if you do like Asa and Denji (I don't think Denji is very interesting), there isn't much around to keep someone reading atp.
I had repeatedly been told manga is better than anime so I tried it, but the 13-26 episode animes, OVAs, anime movies, etc. leave while they're still good, whereas most mangas I read just kind of fizzle out. Hopefully the chainsawman author can do something cool to spice it up. Can't help but feel these problems are the result of the weekly release schedules.
