As a subsection of that, Israel is really bad at P.R. because the idea of even bothering to explain yourself or ask for permission or approval for anybody else is deeply un-Zionist. This is at the core of it. Again, antisemitism in a more Israeli-Zionist mentality has nothing to do with the Jews, it's more of a symptom of a society going down the drain, which does not signal intimidating capability. Like that musician who was singing "death, death to the IDF." If you want to kill IDF soldiers, then go and try it. But those words don't really mean anything. Throw a few ballistic missiles at them and now we're talking. It might be a problem for Britain, but those Israelis will tend to think that's unserious. The women in the crowd at Glastonbury didn't even hold their babies up in the air and shout that they had given birth to future martyrs! People do that in their neighborhood.
I'm not justifying this mentality, but that's just how they are. Or a lot of them.
But that's what Thiel and Karp are into, from what I've seen. It's a lot of "we're tired of explaining ourselves" and apologizing for this and that, and "we build software that helps the West dominate and make our enemies go to bed at night being afraid." I'm not exaggerating, that's how those Palantir guys talk. But it is different with a lot of American Jews who have adapted to a liberal or woke cultural morality that's all about trying to be "okay" and be nice and not hurt anyone's feelings.
