How do we feel about the SMTV connections because of the remake? Is it Yamai's boner for the SMT multiverse back at it again or what?

How do we feel about the Raidou Remaster changing the story to connect it to SMTV and not just SMT1 and 2? Actually, almost all reference to 1 and 2 was removed and made super ambiguous except for one debrief (that you have to download) that explains the ending. Yamai wrote SMTV and Raidou so it only makes sense that he would reboot Raidou to have it be SMTV's past. I wouldn't be surprised if the eventual Raidou 2 remaster expands on and confirms this new timeline split.
