Me and my 2 friends started playing about a month ago and we kinda plateaued around havoc 30, cant seem to get above that sometimes dropping below. So since I think we hit the ceiling of what we can do just ramming our heads against the wall caveman style I thought maybe some havoc veterans care to help a brother out with some advice? I think the most obvious solution is find a fourth player, or change our builds to some gay ass meta and ill start by saying that those are out of the question, Id rather never go above havoc 30 than bend the knee to meta or invite a random.
That being said, we are: Flamethrower psyker, zealot with charge and a big hammer that kos bosses in two hits and a no dog arbitrator (me).
Would love any advice you could give really, but here are some bullet points:
I call the shots but so far I dont really know whats the most optimal way to engage different situations so most of the time I just tell everyone to back away towards the closest choke point and hold there kiting backwards. Biggest issue we face usually is 800 gunners hiding behind cover across the map with pus hardened skin or regeneration/enrage because no one on the team has any efficient way to deal with that so im just stuck there for like 5 minutes every time dumping all of my ammo with a shotgun picking them off one by one. I said im not doing any meta, but im down for build adjustments like picking another gun.
Whats the proper way to deal with the double boss spawn? The sword and plasmagun duo? Thats like 90% of our wipes, we usually just run back through the level shocking the horde and trying to kill the melee one first.
What are the actual roles for each of us? We all kinda do everything so Im thinking theres an obvious bottleneck there.
