/chess/ is extinct due to schizos annoying everyone, a new team will not fix it. The group on vg is killed by catmixer making any sort of online play impossible and scaring away veterans and this tg group is killed because the janny here is a schizo banning everyone for no real reason and stifling and normal, human conversation. Good luck with your new team, tho, but I really doubt it will take off
