Less than 30% of illegals that Immigration officials have caught have been convicted of a crime, using the word “crime” in its broadest sense (speeding and other traffic violations, shoplifting, misdemeanors) and less than 8% of serious crimes (felonies, rape, murder, assaults, drug dealing etc.). Statistically you’re more in danger from an American citizen than an immigrant.
