Moltres has more gameplay related memes that are more popular.
Lugia is associated with degenerates more generally, and the fact that the creator had a mental break down because it's voice was too masculine in the movie it debuted in. And now since the official Pokemon 25th anniversary virtual concert featuring Post Malone, him saying "but the sex tho" was sinked with Lugia flying over him.
Meganium is moslty known for being the worst starter, and being forgettable, OR for the Bayleaf (the prevo of Meganium) that wanted to fuck Ash in the anime.
Basically back in the day all these pokemon would revert to JustinRPG if the conversation went on for too long, now it is basically just Reshiram.
