this is good advice. i love to draw and write. i wonder if i will ever achieve anything with my art that i'm actually proud of but i know i am the only one getting in my way. so that is my problem.
i relate to pretty much everything i have read about schizoid personality disorder, though i hate psychiatry and do not want to have another diagnosis nor do i want the risk of getting put in a psych ward for telling a medical professional about my schizoid behaviors and thinking.
i do like the idea of understanding myself better, and the idea that everything fits in a neat little box, but brains do not really work that way. so i've shied away from the schizoid label even though it is probably the one that holistically represents me.
