it's not talent, it's the fact they get comfortable with where they're at and stop actively trying to improve
t. Happened to me because I drew extremely inconsistently and just did schizo art where skill matters less than whatever grotesque implication it influences
It's nothing to do with talent and more to do with the fact that people get to a point where they enjoy drawing what they're doing and they just don't have the active drive to improve and would rather just draw
You don't improve without guidance
You need guidance to improve and you need critique. And do you need a degree of fundamental study
If you never do that, you will just stay stagnant
