yeah, i wouldn't have even tried this if i didn't think it'd look cool when it's done. setting up the boxes was a chore because eyeballing perspective is still difficult for me, i just drew a single box at each of it's increments and then mirrored it where they applied which could cover 4 to 8 cubes on the grid, but actually drawing the cones flew by with the guidelines all set up, i was doing 2 or 3 a minute.

Thanks anon! I know actually what's happening, I'm just "winging it" lol. That panel in example, I thought about how to approach it (about 5 minutes of deep thought lol), about doing the three of them in perspective, but then they would be on top of each-other, and I wanted Severian with his front pose and the old sun behind him, but I wanted Morwenna with that cute side profile since I'm doing her always in a frontal pose, and I didn't know where the alcalde should be for the text balloon to be positioned effectively, (I had to mirror the panel horizontally for the text to work) and after that I did the floor trying to fit all together with some hint of the crowd, I tried to fix her leg for the new floor, but I needed to redo three or four layers. I know anon, each and everyone of these panels have glaring issues. I just move along without caring anymore. I'm sorry. I appreciate your time, but it is wasted on me, I'll will stumble upon everything on my path trying to finish every page, my apologies.

i quite like this panel as well as the third panel with the hood guy (your best drawing IMO, doesn't have the weird long torsos or abrupt shapes)
my main tip is that any time you do rectangular ground planes you should spend some time actually drawing the convergences, will save you heartache later and its very quick to do

also the guy in the back can in the 1st panel can be kept in his same rotation as it's possible for him to just exist in 1 point perspective as long as you draw his feet correctly with the floor.
you also have to taper the figures upwards slightly for the slight low horizon
basically the placement of the girl and the pimp guy would have to be slightly redrawn and you still keep your overall comp if you ever decide to do something like this again (rotated figures along a ground plane)

Thanks anon! That's a beautiful girl/figure, I think you're the most talented anon here (if you are who I think you are). But, that's a perfect example of why I draw the way I draw. I really like my girl in the second panel, and until you draw that other version I didn't appreciated how much I liked mine. I like toned torsos bulging out on top, and arching backs with contracting bellies, and shapely thighs along with exaggerated hip and ass curved expressions, all of that combined. How do you draw that? Well, sometimes you just gotta "feel the form" and find your own little happy accidents. If I play following the rules and limitations of the official anatomy chart, I will never discover my unique sexy girls every time, and then drawing will lose meaning for me. I need to roll the dice every time and see what happens. That's the fun part.
I did your version of Morwenna to do a comparison, I'm sure many will love it, but for some "reason" I'll probably keep drawing my girls in grotesque mode lol

i'm not saying the image is bad (althought I don't like it), just that it's bad to study from. when you're starting out, try to study from pictures that have a clear separation of values and no colour burn or light bloom effects. something with a clear range of darks to lights, and especially things that are less stylized than this. it doesn't even have to be photography (though I recommend begs should probably study from photos and realism if nothing else), just something less blobby and more meticulously planned out than that

Thank you sketchybro, I would answer your question saying that writing is the first thing. It has to be anyways, simple ideas, mood, details. But once you try to put that into images, then "creation" goes through a total different process in your head. "There are things" you HAVE TO draw, and things you HAVE TO put on text. It all comes down to that, at the end. Writing the idea comes first imo. Then you will see how to draw what you like, no matter the "story" lol But you need to write down everything. About the "output process" that's a whole different and personal thing. I devised a system, shitty, limited, but very fast nevertheless. from the ears, that curve below the chest and that one going up looking like a tail I assume it's a lion surrounded by larger, stereotypically bara furry species like buffaloes or bears given the camera angle, and that thing below his nose could be some other floating dick but I can imagine it's his hand grabbing something (probably that dick) and now think it's cooler because the pise looks more 3D and stuff so that's what I'm going with. Maybe for you it's a lube dispenser on a table, and that character is a dwarf surrounded by orcs or heaven forbid, a woman and the curve below her are her massive tits, and I'll be disappointed later, who knows. Until you finish it it's the best drawing I've seen today, and then it'll be second or third, stuff like that.

idk more like what isn't wrong with it. just make the front leg at least as big as the leg behind to start off with. and make a curve so that the torso is bent one way and stretched the other, easy cheat to make it less stiff
