Another thing to note is that Labrynth is a much more genuine design like there wasn't just a simple design philosphy for "ok guys konami wants us to create a character that would get shilled for the next 5 years and it needs to be globally appealing'' nonsense, Labrynth feels like there was genuine passion in her design and whoever drew her put their 100% and some more. Like think about it
Her entire name is a fucking pun that combines Labyrinth, like the minotaur's labyrinth, Labrys, the axe of a minotaur, and Love You
The Labrys that she wields is shaped like a heart like her entire maze is decorated with hearts and heart motifs
Her labyrinth is a fucking puzzle maze full of devious traps that require stupidly fast reflexes to beat and are made on the elaborate effort to not be just effective, but be a spectacle like that one vidya where you build traps to combo a poor girl into getting flattened by like 10 presses before getting launched into a barrel or some shit.
And her design as a whole is very simple but very appealing, She only uses like 5 shades of grey and even her skin is on the grey side, yet it's easy to tell what she's wearing and nothing in her dress is gaudy, she's dressed up like a las vegas show girl (which isn't a first time for Konami, see Parodius), she got the certified twin drills hair to compliment her ojou-sama personality, she is wearing skimpy clothing, she has big tits that even the TCG didn't have the heart to censor compared to what they did to that azamina monster and just covered her up and even said cover up looks great.
