Yeah it looks like Hecatoncheires is actually really middling
The three Level 7s all have the Drollesque summoning condition, but only Goddus works as a handtrap, meaning that the other two kinda just don't really work on your turn, so you only have the e-tele guy to summon them out. Not only that, E-Tele guy is really your only 1 card starter, so it's not particularly consistent.
Not only that, both Breus and Gygas are RNG dependent, meaning shit gets nightmarishly bad if you miss.
In addition, the board isn't really all that menacing, like, if you can get both traps up + Goddus + Xeno + a Breus handrip it's probably fine if a little underpowered but that's your high ceiling endboard you're not actually always gonna make, realistically it's more like a Breus handrip, maybe one of the Counter Traps and Goddus which most decks can easily play under.

I heavily suspect that the last card is an add 2 that either lets the opponent draw 1 or adds a card from your hand to the opponent's with a GY banish effect to Fusion Summon the standard way, which while means the deck has 9 starters and easier access to Xeno and ways to play through handtraps, doesn't feel like it fixes the low ceiling. There's obviously the argument in jamming it in Illusionslop, but nothing in Hecatoncheire feels like it drastically boosts that deck's power level into meta contention as opposed to just some sort of vaguely below rogue combo deck that sure can make impressive endboards if uninterrupted. Definitely needs the 2 cards of core booster support.

Sounds like it should get some support then to put it over the edge, namely say, in the form of a Level 4 monster with an effect to reborn another Ogdoadic every time it's special summoned from the GY that is not OPT, as a mechanism with which to generate advantage off of every reborn trick they have and let it spam enough bodies for extension and general boardbuilding/breaking, and also some other CaCs.

I don't think the solution is to further Ogdoadic into Junk Speeder Syndrome until it accomplishes something, it's giving the deck new starters, actual extenders that extend and bosses worth making
