Just seen the film myself now and fuck all of you this film isn't just woke - it's far more fucking insidious than just something as innocuous as 'muh girlboss owns a guy' 'le blackwashed character' or whatever tame shit you fags complain about, I'm gonna sweep right past this and hit you with something that will sound schizo and like I'm just making it up but this is literally this film and I can't believe how fucking blatant it is:

>film's plot is literally about them deciding if they have to offer up a literal baby to giant horned bison helmet god to save the planet (their plan to defeat said god is to bait him by literally offering up the baby)
>in order to stave off said god by knocking him through a portal, a critical action is where The Thing has to DEMOLISH THE BASE OF A TOWER TO BRING IT DOWN (THE SETTING IS LITERALLY NEW YORK BTW)
>said Thing is apparently jewish and visits a jewish school in one earlier scene (star of david and hebrew writing openly on walls and teacher with new yorker jew accent)
>The Thing has grown a beard and is dressed in a long coat and hat in this scene btw
>right after this scene you hear a guy on a news report say (I swear I am not making this up):
>"maybe all it takes is one small dedicated group of citizens to change the world, in fact, it always has"
