When you say "fuck with" I take it you mean joke around/fuck around with them? I do lie to them constantly/constantly mislead them to create funny moments, it's great. Pretty much every day I mess with them.

It just depends on the grade. My grade last year was uniquely challenging but the following great is back to tolerable. I teach older students so I still need to wait to see the truly Gen. Alpha up close.

Whenever a student says anything of that nature I just say "As a government employee I'm not allowed to respond to you" and just repeat that until they go away.
Occasionally I'll throw in a "Good for you, Charlie" or "Here's my phone, call someone who cares"
