I think it's the good resolution for gaming on bigger screens. More HD means that you get distracted by the textures because our eyes have limited capability. With frame rates as well. When it's as fluid as real life in frame rate, for instance, I feel like I'd be a little disoriented. Especially if you're going to play on ultra graphics settings. This is my monitor and I think it's perfect for me. It's 1440p I think, and if you upscale the textures it isn't blocky. And it has HD speakers in it too.
