honestly just return to afghan qalat mud walls if you want vert structures. Or maybe compressed earth blocks. DG is just going to slump in time. They did a cool style on some parts of the great wall with mud+woven mats. The mats stop the tendency to return to the angle of repose and act as drip edges so the mud doesnt wash away as easy. I guess there is a discussion to be had about climate and how that effects things as well.
