>Defeating this powerful Pokémon in Max Battles grants large quantities of Eternatus Candy and Eternatus Candy XL, which you can use to power up your own Eternatus. Eternatus is an extraordinarily powerful Pokémon that requires much more Candy than other Pokémon to power up.
>Eternatus can only be caught once during this event, and it requires much more Candy and Candy XL to power up due to its massive power.
So they're now making certain legendaries even more expensive to power up than normal Pokémon? THAT'S their plan for elongating the game for the tryhards? It doesn't even seem to justify its existence that well, it's just a slightly stronger version of Black Kyurem for was will probably be 2x or more money. I mean, it was probably necessary for whenever they plan on implementing Arceus into the game, but I really don't think making things more expensive just for a slightly better trinket is gonna motivate players anymore than they already are. Will the paradox mons also require more candy to power up?
