I've never really been a lorehead in any tv show or game I've played but I do want to know why Kris even lets the player take control of him in the first place. I mean he's clearly fighting the player. He can place the player in the cage and he can move and interact with the world independently of the player so in a series that is so prone to fourth wall breaking it just creates a 'Why didn't the eagles just fly to Mordor' situation.
