What is his deal with eggs?
I've never really been a lorehead in any tv show or game I've played but I do want to know why Kris even lets the player take control of him in the first place. I mean he's clearly fighting the player. Kind of a broad question but why do you guys think that the success of Undertale/Deltarune didn't inspire a billion awful copycats? The success of Hollow Knight created a bunch of unmemorable metroidvanias. At one point during Summer Games Fest, I started to guess if the trailer was going to be a Dark Fantasy rollslop soulslike or if it was going to be Sengoku Japan samurai rollslop soulslike. FNAF influenced a hog slaughterhouse factory of 'mascot horror'.

Gameplay is much easier to copy, you know how it works and many people can all work on it at the same time. Stories are writing are much harder to do, each one needs to be custom made. There is no plug in play. You can have a 1,000 large studio churning away at a game. Making models, assets, gameplay loops that sort of thing even if they appear to suck at it these days.. There's different aspects in the comic that are like RPG-esque things or whatever that determine how you play (the comic is about people playing a game), and your specific powers and role and stuff, like choosing a race in Skyrim or whatever, and the Mind aspect is all about the decisions people make and the outcome of those decisions.
One of the main mind players in Homestuck is Terezi, who just so happened to be Toby's favorite character and probable waifu. In this picture you see him posing obviously very happily with a Terezi cosplayer.
Toby's love of Terezi, a Mind player, most definitely inspired him to make a game where the consequences of your actions matter. That game was Undertale, and by extension Deltarune.
We need an equivalent of this when we get to the endgame. There's bits and pieces of each chapter that could warrant revisiting if Toby so allowed it.
