Obviously the immediate assumption is Catti and Jockington are an item, or one day they'll be an item but as awkward tweens they're still pussyfooting around about it.
But this image makes me like the idea of them being platonic best friends forever. The idea of them getting together romantically never pops into their heads and they'd be a little weirded out if you even suggested it. They're still just as close even when they get their own romantic partners, and even though their romantic partners are a little uneasy about it there's genuinely nothing going on.
