I don't think she's a mary sue but she's towing the line. She'll probably be more shaken by happenings in future chapters, since we know she broke part of the prophecy that contains tragedy.

Don't forget Gaster or whoever the voice is is on the player+Susie's side.
For the prophecy, Susie has been going against it the entire time. She's not even the hero mentioned in it. She's the girl. Which is NOT the second hero.
I don't really know if the Evil Lancer Fan Club (Kris+Carol+Knight) is necessarily for or against the prophecy thus far, though.
Snowgrave is definitely for the prophecy.
