it's entirely on the writers. the old KOTH holds up extremely well. The humor is subtle but it always hits home. This show has every brand of the modern audience sentiments on it. It's "trying" to be like the old KoTH, but none of the writers have passion for it you can tell, not even Judge. It's funny how fans tend to be better at this stuff than creators overtime.
