If I’m just going to spurt out something unrelated that I’ve thought about… The number and type of pouches that come with the standard type 21 vest issued to PLA soldiers seems limited. 4 single cell magazine pouches and no dump pouch? It seems like a failure to simulate/integrate what’s necessary in actual combat during training. The fact that plates are rarely seen being worn points to this as well.
