It was better but still not an amazing game. It was incomplete, lots cut out, terrible if not useless class/specs, it had loads of issues.
What it was was the right kind of people starting to come online, happening to meet in the right kind of game at the right time. To make the right kind of community.
No matter how amazing an online game anyone makes, that's not happening again. Playing on online 20 years ago and the people who were there is nothing like now.
