It's not because his game is that horrible. It's amateurish, but decent enough. I has some potential for niche appeal even though it's unoptimized

The real reason is because the faggot thinks he's better than other people and acts like he knows everything. he has no humility and no decision making skills. I don't think he even likes games, he's just some aging diablo cultist all the way from the 90s. A cult of personality starting around that joke of a human is just the cherry on top.
/agdg/ became cancer the second that devs started acting high and mighty just because they formed smaller friend groups with other devs. That's completely real, and it's what the inner circle is. Those people turned /agdg/ into their social club where they let their social interactions become more important than the making of games, and that's why that affects everyone else. If you don't understand any of that then you're either dumb as a rock or willfully blind
