You should've noticed Hiroi has a habit of coming up with a promising premise (6.2, 7.55, the first tier of Pandaemonium), than completely drops the ball immediately afterwards and turns what could've been a good story into literal dogshit. You should also have learned tha the CANNOT write a good villain to save his life.

Golbez, Zoraal Ja, and now Calyx. All of these villains are the same

Admittedly the 2nd and 3rd point haven't proven to be the case with Calyx.......YET. But he has the same lack of personality or charisma that Golbez and Zoraal Ja had. And he's being set up to have yet another tragic backstory too. Whatever promies 7.2 showed is going to be squandered in 7.3, just like Hiroi ALWAYS does. I have no idea why you would have any confidence in the story at this point until it's confirmed that Hiroi is out of picture. He can come up with a good premise but will NEVER deliver
