mmmm yup thats some good street fighter alright, real classic street fighter stuff. I remember the good old days in SF2 where I would guard break my opponent into a wallsplat after super dash cancelling my gattling jabs 12 times in a row into free frame trap strike throw mixups. This is really bringing back memories of back when I would roman cancel into a high low overhead mixup back when street fighter was good. Nothing says "street fighter" like non-stop pressure and being punished for blocking. Every real street fighter player knows that the key to these games is always holding forward and pressing buttons, thats why the negative penalty is there so you don't do something boring like blocking. They really captured the essence of footsies by encouraging everyone to wiggle back and forth outside of both players ranges for anything as well, it reminds me of Super Turbo, the way no one is in range for anything at all and just tries to jumpscare each other with the roman cancel run dashes to make them guess between gatling jabs or gatling jab into throw or just a raw throw, or sometimes even an overhead. God its just like I'm a japanese salary man. What a fucking good game, really scratching that street fighter itch.
