Sony dug themselves into this hole by recycling a handful of IPs, falling for live sloppa, axing Japan Studio and expecting only triple A releases while putting their shit on PC and killing off exclusives.
The lack of competition from Xbox only makes the problem more apparent, but they've been circling the drain all on their own
