As you go, my new deltarune folder has 1,622 images in it right now and that is from the last two weeks. What you do is you name the files, and create folders for them. You do this with each image saved, that way you never have to go back and change them and you can also search the entire folder for whatever image you are looking for if you remember at least one of the keywords. If you don't do this, it will never get done as going back and naming all of those files will take a day or more depending how many you have unsorted.
