even when enemies show up with EMPs it'll either be one guy or nearly all of them, so they can either be singled out via psycasts/forced fire or just flatten themselves against your animals/slaves/adapted mechs/traps. Imagine spending your psyload on word of serenity and still benching a pawn for an entire day without catharsis
