I'm like this too. I watched up to Acerola bon Appétit and it was all great. I'm sure I'll probably enjoy Shinobu Mustard as I've enjoyed other Shinobu arcs before that other people trash. But I just don't feel like watching it right now. Maybe it is because I do not like Gaen. I'd rather have had a Monster Season where Araragi embraces being an oddity. I'm sure Nisio will probably dive into this at some point as Araragi still seems pretty conflicted from what I've read. But he really slowed down his writing pace. At least we are getting a new cool Yotsugi origin story in October though. I can look past Gaen for something like that.
