I know that feel, anon. I haven't had friends since I ended uni, which is better than your case but still, I know how much it sucks. Last time I went out and hung out with a bunch of people in an environment to make friends (backpacking along a popular trail), I quickly turned into a ghost at any place I stayed and found myself ignored by everyone and felt lonelier than I've ever been, and since then I've just kind of shut myself off. I don't know why forming human connections seems to be so impossible when others just... get them.
