New laws like this one could be are never applied retroactively. Any and all games currently purchasable/released are not affected, only new products.

Both games pulled the plug then released the offline version on steam before discontinuing support.
Knockout City even made it free to download AND included all microtransactions, for free!
If Capcom (AAA) and (relatively speaking) a smaller game can do it, don't tell me other games and companies can't.
