Still 2. 13-16 might be uninspired to not even FF by any stretch, but somehow they were bearable (was in early teens when I played 13 though so maybe I put up with more shit). The only reason I managed to finish 2 was managing to force myself to because I really wanted to get through all mainline FF. I dreaded continuing to play it and almost didn't want to get up and back to my chair. I understand newer versions might make it more bearable, and replaying it with previous knowledge might do so too, but I really don't see myself wanting to play it again.
