dlss is very good especially the transformer mode version, it being used as a crutch for shit devs doesn't make it suddenly a bad technology, that you're specifically mentioning that dlss smear from cyberpunk means you very likely last played it in 2020 because I remember that bug and it no longer exists for me in cyberpunk with dlss on
