I agree with your mindset about that, yeah. But with regards to what she's been talking about now, it sounds almost like a lot of the stuff she had in the works now won't even see the light of day. I hope and pray that she can keep a positive outlook - maybe focus on some personal development or connections she was able to make. But I know it'll be hard for her to feel like any of it was worthwhile... It just really fucking sucks.
And yes, there are people more unlucky and less fortunate. But this girl gets has gotten excited and invested in so many opportunities and worked hard on so many things, only to have the rug pulled out from under her way too many times.
I just want her to happy, man...
