When I went there last year for my first time I mainly checked out some panels (they're of wildly varying quality), saw performances, took photos with cosplayers, and hung out with friends. I'm a poorfag who isn't even really into most anime nowadays but I like to see what's up and I'd like to put myself out there. I cosplayed as a character from an old, irrelevant anime and still got recognized quite a bit so that was cool. I think this year I wanna try hitting on some cosplayers just for the fuck of it.

aside from all the consoomer shit there's still stuff to see and do, some of which you already mentioned, if none of that sparks any curiosity in you then I suppose there isn't a point
