I had no idea how bad I was at proportions until I specifically started drilling this loomis diagram. The first chapter in Loomis' fdfaiw is actually fucking incredible, I recommend everyone drill all the diagrams in this book

Draw the same ref in this way at least 10-20x before moving on, so you can give yourself a lot of iterations to drill the same image into your brain. Proportions are KING. The red lines in pic related are literally my "breakdown" stage that Ethan Becker talked about
