probably normal, check the cam chain tensioner and valve clearance.
Does it make the sound in neutral?
Did you change the oil yet? Old oil makes more noise.
Lifter tick is a common thing among all bikes and cars.
All bikes will start to develop sounds as they wear in, and MT07 is known for the engine tick just like Kawasaki has tappet noise.
Just do the oil changes a little earlier than needed and you'll be fine, also use premium.
