Me and buddy went to a bunker and got shot by the AA turrets, major torque imbalance, blown off thruster, crashed land in some hills. We loaded up on food and water and trecked almost 8km to the bunker, cleared it and searched abandoned player ships looking for a ride out. We found a damaged ursa medivac but all the ships were soft killed or had blown fuses. Then, I see in chat a guy saying he will do search and rescue and tow your vehicle for 20k aUEC. Hired him on the spot. As he’s coming in, we realize we haven’t taken the turrets offline yet, my buddy and I scramble to shoot the turrets, the Argo comes in, gets shot by a couple turrets but lands safely on the opposite side of a hill. We walk over and hitch a ride to Everus harbor, he shows us a table and bed, asks if we need water or food. His ship was damaged. We get to Everus and as we are landing in his hangar we are repositioned into the habs. I sent him a friend request. We are friends now. He can be sure, that wherever he finds himself needing help, even in the most dire of circumstances, my friend and I will answer his call. He need not ask.
