After finishing the manga, the most jarring part has to be how inconsistent Shizuka is. Like if she could do what she did, why didn't she do it earlier? It's like she's a completely different person after chapter 3.

For the ending it's so rushed that Shizuka and Marina somehow got past their differences and got together. You would expect there to be context showing the two understanding the circumstances of their family, but psycho Shizuka and kill bill Marina just put aside their differences due to Happyian magic I guess. Logically I can see a way for the two to get together, but it's way too rushed. Azuma imo got the most complete story. Takopi would've had a much better time if it just ditched the two landmines and stuck with glasses boy
