The game itself can be fun at times but I find the hobby aspect too difficult for your models to not look like ass. The local community we have here is great and I think the game and the overall fun aspect depends a lot on that. Just grab a combat patrol box of whatever army you seem interested in and start painting them. Check out your local game store to see if anyone would be interested in an introductory game.
