there are ways to cheat the system. it's possible to smoke weed without letting it affect you negatively, which sounds like the problem. learn moderation. engage with your local cannabis community, assuming you don't live in a restricted flyover state or BFE. get involved in activism. i've accomplished a lot in this regard.. the biggest learning being there are very accomplished people who smoke every day with no issue. the key is staying productive and contributing to a larger goal, whatever that may be. i'm on a 2 month tolerance break and almost all the negatives in this thread have impacted me extensively. bitterness, weird dreams, etc. etc.

the tolerance break is coming to a close and i will be smoking again soon, but i don't feel bad about it at all. for me, i was smoking a bit much so the importance of moderation was the thing that clarity of mind showed me. if there are people around you demonizing your usage, fuck them. it's a plant medicine as old as time. at the same time, if you can't smoke without being negatively affected, it's probably not for you.
