Juliet Butler is the thinking mans choice for sure. Tell you what series did not hold up well like Artemis Fowl did, Percy Jackson. Holy shit how did I ever read that trash it's embarrassingly bad. Picked up a cheap copy of Charlie Bone to read once I finish the last book of Timothy Zahn's 90s Thrawn trilogy so fingers crossed on that being decent.
