I used to think this but the chances of somebody recognizing a line or technique is nearly impossible. Human sociology hasn't changed much. We still have eyes, ears, mouths and feet and our evolution hasn't changed because of cell phones.

Yes because women are drawn to men who have a purpose and are secure or "outcome independent" as pickup artists would say. It is intriguing to them.

I would say don't write off the power of direct action in the form of actually striking up conversations because this is the simplest and most practical way possible to slay the dragon.
