but honestly all you really need to play solo is in the core set, the GM book has a ton of useful generators
it focuses on a sanbox hexcrawl in a somewhat uncivilized (post-apoc even) medieval fantasy, traversing the wilderness and exploring settlements, ruins and dungeons and it is phenomenal at it
if that sounds like your cup of tea you shouldn't even have second guesses
right now the core set digital version is on sale on drivethrough for just $15 for 2 core books and an additional generation-table booklet

Haven't tried it but I heard great things about soloing tOR
it's not going to be as cheap as FL though because you''ll need to get several items

I know other stuff they make, like Vaesen, have solo rules as well but I don't really know anything about those ones since it's not the genre I'm looking for
